An evergreen tree also known as Chilean Pine it grows up to 100' or more and has distinctive stiff dark green bottle brush like branches that are very distinctive. Native to the southern Andes mountains they grow in central and southern Chile and western Argentina and productive of a very large edible pinenut much esteemed by the natives of the region.
